Return & Refunds

Danube Peptides maintains a clear and transparent Returns and Refunds Policy aligned with the nature of its products, applicable consumer rights, and its commitment to quality, precision, and research integrity.

Danube Peptides supplies products strictly for laboratory and research purposes only. All materials are not intended for human or veterinary use and are supplied exclusively to customers aged 18 years or older. Where available, batches may be accompanied by independent laboratory documentation or Certificates of Analysis (COA) relating to the relevant product and batch.

Order Accuracy and Cancellation

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details before completing a purchase, including product selection, quantities, billing information, and shipping details.

If you need to request a change or cancellation, please contact Danube Peptides as soon as possible. Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights that may apply under Austrian or European Union law.

Right of Withdrawal

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to a distance purchase, consumers may generally withdraw from an eligible contract within 14 days without providing a reason.

The withdrawal period generally begins on the day the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform Danube Peptides of the decision to withdraw by means of a clear statement. Customers may contact us by email or use the Model Withdrawal Form provided below.

The withdrawal request must be sent before the applicable withdrawal period expires.

Certain products or circumstances may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by applicable law. Any applicable exclusion will only be relied upon where legally permitted.

Returns Following a Valid Withdrawal

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies and has been validly exercised, the customer may be required to return the eligible goods within the legally applicable period.

Returned goods should be securely packaged and returned in the condition required by applicable law.

The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods unless otherwise required by law or agreed by Danube Peptides.

Any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods may be taken into account where legally permitted.

Refunds Following a Valid Withdrawal

Where a valid statutory withdrawal applies, eligible payments will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Refunds will generally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed.

Where legally applicable, Danube Peptides may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or the customer has provided evidence that the goods have been returned.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If an order arrives damaged, defective, or contains an incorrect item, customers should contact Danube Peptides within 48 hours of delivery so that the issue can be reviewed promptly.

Customers may be asked to provide clear photographic evidence showing:

  • External packaging
  • Shipping label
  • Product packaging
  • Product received
  • Nature of the reported issue

After reviewing the claim, Danube Peptides may provide an appropriate remedy, including replacement or refund, where applicable.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights available to the customer.

Shipping Issues and Lost Packages

Danube Peptides is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather conditions, or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.

If a shipment appears to have been lost in transit, Danube Peptides will work with the relevant carrier to investigate.

Where a carrier officially confirms that a shipment has been lost, an appropriate resolution may be provided depending on the circumstances and applicable legal rights.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information during checkout.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, banking institution, or cryptocurrency payment provider involved.

Where a refund relates to a damaged, defective, incorrect, or lost order, the claim must normally be reviewed before reimbursement is issued.

Research Use and Customer Responsibility

All products supplied by Danube Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes.

Customers are responsible for using, handling, and storing products in accordance with the product information, batch documentation, applicable laws, and appropriate laboratory practices.

Products are not intended for human or veterinary use.
